Nicholas Palmquist is a freelance teacher, dancer, and choreographer currently based in Germany. Nicholas has danced commercially in America for Vogue, Netflix, SNL, The Tonight Show, feature films and the Tony Awards, in addition to live performances with American Dance Machine at the Joyce Theater and with the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Nicholas has Go-Go danced for Hermes at NYFW, performed in the Kenzo x H&M collaboration with Jean Paul Gaultier, and has creative directed for Nordstrom and Vogue Mexico. He recently choreographed a ballet with Semperoper Ballett in Dresden, and has future work with Staatsballett Berlin and Ballett Schwerin in Germany. Nicholas has taught in Moscow and St. Petersburg for Context, the festival of famed ballerina, Diana Vishneva, as well as the Monterrey International Ballet Gala in Mexico, Congresso de Jazz in Brazil, and masterclasses in Paraguay, Japan, Shanghai, and the US. Nicholas developed his unique method while on Faculty at Steps on Broadway in New York and focuses on musicality and self-expression. He has taught for universities around the world and is passionate about the art of teaching, encouraging, and connecting through dance. |
